First, a note to people who read my journal using the LiveJournal feed account ... each entry has the URL of the actual post on top. Please leave comments on the actual entry (click the URL) instead of in the LJ feed... this is because LJ feed entries are deleted after a while, and I lose the comments. If you comment on the actual entry (http://journal.alanv.org/whatever), they stay.
So yeah. Decided to go to Pegasus tonight with Chris, gwillen, Tom, Alisa, and Allison tonight. It was mostly anticlimactic. Watched people put on makeup and stuff for a couple hours... then went. Alisa decided to leave after about 10 minutes (apparently, the music was terrible... I wouldn't know since I'd never been clubbing before). I didn't want her to have to go home by herself, and meh... I didn't really feel comfortable there without her (not really sure why). So meh. That's why I'm home. Kinda a waste of an evening and money, but whatever. Will go again when there's better music and foo, I guess. I really need to learn to dance...
As for the replacement camera, I think I'll be getting a Nikon D50. I've read nothing but good reviews for it, and the price is very good. Wheee. Anyone heard anything about it, or own one that I can mess with?
Got no homework done today. I am a bad person. Must do tons of HW tomorrow.
I have laundry in the washer right now (have to get the cigarette smoke out of my clothes from the club), so I can't sleep for another 2 hours. Maybe I should work on that new journal layout that's been delayed for like... a year.
