Good news to anyone who hates my camera...
It's dead. Completely. Turning it on results in some grinding, then an E45 error. Looking this up online turns up that this is pretty much the "Well crap, this camera is dead... time to get a new one" error.
Oh well. I'll start looking for a new one. Good thing this happened during break, so I have time to buy a new camera before New York trip.
Bad news to anyone who hates my camera...
I'll probably be getting a digital SLR to replace it. This means more camera mehness for all of you.
In other news, there was fondue party at rlambert's tonight. I got pictars. They (as well as the pie party pictures) will be posted tonight before I go to bed... give me around an hour (until 3:30 AM) to get them batched and posted though. I also got broccoli. I'm feeling a little tipsy from the alcohol in the fondues too. Wheeee.
I also got a lot (relative to other break days) of homework done today. Covered 4 chapters in the C++ book. Got more done on 213 (tons of thanks to #cslounge and jgrafton). Got pictures and info for my photographer research project. Yayyy.
Also defrosted fridge and did laundry today. Lots of stuff done! Yayyy. Too bad break is almost over. I mean, logical tomorrow is Friday. Meh.
Yeah, time to batch photos, then sleep.
Edit: Pictures are posted. http://photos2.alanv.org. About a quarter of the photos from tonight (the fondue party) were corrupted (from the camera dying), so I did some recovery with Photoshop, but many of them still came out with weird discolorations. So yeah, ignore any discolorations you see in the pictures, please. Meh.
