Grargh

Today has been the longest day of my life... Grargh. And I've found it incredibly difficult to be awake for most of it, for some reason.

Started out way too early with a 9 AM 213 lecture, during which I fell asleep. I hope I didn't miss too much. Then was another amazing 312 lecture where we studied the type-safety theorem stuff with respect to errors (things like div(num[n],num[0])) and recursion. Then was just enough time for lunch and for changing into a suit for the EOC.

I then had 80180, which was boring, and which I failed the homework assignment for. Blah. Why do I suck so much at human language when I'm doing so well with computer languages? Then was 18100 lecture which was decent... learned to use Thevyn/Nortion Equivalence to simplify circuits.

Then was the EOC. Talked to quite a few employers... handed out a few resumes. Mrrr. No one's interested in me. I need to get my act together for next year... I really, really, really want an internship somewhere, but I don't think I have the necessary skills. I need to find a research job. Apparently, VMWare had a really good interview question...
if(...){
printf("Hello, ");
}else{
printf("World!");
}

And we want the output to be "Hello, World!" by filling in the ... in the if statement. Heh. I guess it's not that hard once you know what you're doing... and I guess I got the right answer for it. Whee. I'm not even interested in VMWare though.

THEN was a Yearbook meeting. A 2 hour yearbook meeting. Gargh.

Then I came home and slept. Now I have Combinatorics homework to tackle and finish. Blah.

This homework is the third weekend (out of three) that is going to suck. I have 18100 homework, a photo roll to shoot, ALLLLL of 312 to do, 80180 homework to do, an 18100 exam to study for, a combinatorics exam to study for, and other crap to do. Oh well, that's what I get for taking so many units... and I *am* enjoying everything (except combinatorics, which I can't afford to drop unless I want to give up on my math minor). Mrrrr.

Comments:

That is a cool question. I can think of a few ways to do it, but the answer they probably wanted...well, given the required behavior is stupid, I probably shouldn't feel this small cringe of pain. That is actually a useful construct
if you want to do certain things that you'll learn about later...but...not for this behavior >_<
