Homework gaah

Apologies for the lack of updates lately. I've been swamped with homework... all 6 of my classes assigned homework due next week, and 312 has been racking my brain. AHHHH.

Um yeah, so 312 is going really... badly... even though it's one of my favorite classes this semester. I still don't quite understand rule induction and whatnot, so I'm having trouble doing ugly proofs. Take, for example this, page 4. That's like what we have to do. Considering this is my first time doing this stuff, I'm having a lot of trouble with it.

Developed my second roll of film yesterday. It came out really well... a couple white splotches on some negatives though. I really should've shot another roll to develop during class tomorrow, but I really, really, really didn't have time.

Keith might have a bagger tonight. Should be interesting. That's why I'm scrambling to finish up all my homework right now. I have 213 that I'm going to put off until Tuesday (tomorrow will be dedicated to finishing up 312 since it's due at midnight). I'll wait to do combinatorics (due Friday) until Wednesday. Gaah. I wish I could've gotten more done this weekend... instead, I've just been working on 312. I think I'm finally starting to understand the material though. At least I got 80180 and 18100 homework done.

Last night Christina and her roommate made Chinese New Year's Eve dinner and invited me. It was yummy. Her roommate's boyfriend just got back from Iraq on Friday. He showed us pictures of stuff. Whee.

Tonight Apphia's making Chinese New Year's dinner. Yum yum. More food.

So yeah... goals: Finish (or get close to finishing) 312 tonight. Finish up 312 and work on 213 tomorrow. Work on Combinatorics Wednesday. And then, this weekend, do it allll over again.

Dude... drop something. Don't burn out. Waiting a semester to take 312 won't be the end of the world. Failing, on the other hand, just might be.

In response to Grant's comment, that would be interesting. I can see the headline now...

WORLD ENDS AS AMBITIOUS COLLEGE STUDENT FAILS COURSE; see page A12 for details

Of course, the main headline would be something about Ben Affleck.

If it makes you feel any better, the dohickey that they were trying to prove to me looks like a bunch of squiggly lines with letters stacked on them.
