Meh. It's 11:41 here. This entry will say it was posted at 1:41, so it's being posted from yesterday. Meeeh.
In any case, Ty and his parents threw me an early birthday party today. It was yummy. Lots of Thai food (larb, satay, yum, grilled chicken, sticky rice) and ice cream cake! And his mom gave me more money. Meh. Everyone's giving me money...
Student Wars: Factions is finished. This means that the Student Wars card game now has 486 different cards... enough for a multitude of different decks, strategies, and combos. People seriously should play. I've uploaded the updated rules here. I can provide a CD of all 486 cards. Meh.
Or maybe I should upload all the cards to my website for download. The entire game right now is around 120 MB... not small, but not terribly large either.
Seriously, I need opinions on how to distribute this thing. If people will actually play, I'm willing to sacrifice the webspace necessary to upload all the cards, and bandwidth to let you download them.
I also need to update the website... hell, get the website up. Here's a summary of the expansions until then...
Base Set: Welcome to the Student Wars collectable card game, where you fight your opponent to be the first to obtain a 4.0 GPA. This expansion contains 243 regular cards, as well as 45 starter deck-only cards to fuel your strategies and get you started. This game is based off the PPA TCG, and most cards are backward-compatible. Join the fight today!
Alliances: Following in the tradition of the PPA TCG, the first expansion set once again focuses on characters. The 99 cards in this expansion provide many additional characters and introduce storage events, capable of storing up cards for later use. With plenty of item-related rules as well, this expansion is sure to give your deck the advantage.
Factions: The Kiltie Band. The Rat Pack. These factions and more are finally introduced in this 99 card expansion set. Fill your deck with Vermillion anime club members and utilize your items more effectively. Bring Yearbook club members to your aid and retrieve cards from the past. Or just pull out the Kiltie Band and cheer your way to victory. Triggertext and plenty of new GPA cards help you mow down the competition.
Mischief: Love' em or hate 'em, the KGB club can enhance your college experience, and now your deck as well. Focusing on the KGB faction, as well as lesser name-based factions, this 99 card set is filled with character and event cards, and can mess with your opponent's strategies as well as give you the tools needed for victory. Fight on, comrade!
Oh yeah, the Mischief expansion also needs a better name. Any suggestions?
