Saw Brokeback Mountain today. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time... the director's use of flashback, montage, and intercutting... wow. That, along with the minimalistic music made it absolutely perfect. Props to Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger for taking on such challenging roles and doing an amazing job with them. Absolutely believable. Um, yeah, I probably shouldn't turn this into another set of film notes, since I'm not taking intro film studies anymore (but this film would be great to take notes on... lots of film techniques working together seamlessly)...
Uh yeah... not much else has been going on. I've been eating too much chocolate lately. What's up with all the mint chocolate this year? There's mint chocolate kit kat, mint chocolate minatures mix (consisting of mint milk chocolate, mint dark chocolate, and chocolate with mint), mint chocolate kisses, mint chocolate truffles, and the usual Andes mints and peppermint patties... meh. The fact that I absolutely love mint chocolate doesn't help either.
KoL is funness. Love all the Crimbo stuff that's going on. Chrisamaphone got me a Mr. A for Crimbo! Unfortunately, I can't open her gift package until I'm out of hardcore... which probably won't be for another few months. Meh. Thank you though :) Qellie also zapped a yoyo into an owl familiar for me. Thank you also.
Also getting a lot of work done on Student Wars: Factions. Hopefully, I'll finish up the set by the time school starts again. People should start playing Student Wars. Rules and testdecks are up at http://swccg.alanv.org.
