Urinetown / Year in Review

Went to see the drama department's performance of Urinetown today. Once again, I am utterly amazed at the people there... The acting, the singing... the entire performance... wow...
The musical itself was utterly hilarious... self-aware... made fun of just about everything. The ending could have been better written, I think... then again, it does fit the musical pretty well, so meh, whatever. For example: "There's a heart in the sky / there just is / don't ask why / it's the sky."
More here. Hilarious!
See this! Go! :D :D :D

In case someone wants to get me a christmas present... Urinetown music CD!

In other news, I found a new piece of Hyoga fanart that makes a great desktop pattern here.

Also got more homework done. ML is hard, but fun.
Oh yeah... my physics lab class is officially the best class I have taken thus far at CMU... <3 Take it with Kunal Ghosh if you have the chance... he's amazing.

In other news...
I kinda stole this from Tori. Meh. Here's a sentence from the first entry I made every month this year.

January: Dentist this morning. Have two cavities forming, which may eventually need to be filled. And I need to brush and floss better. Bleah.

February: Matt fed data files directly into his computer's sound processing thing. It's always interesting to hear a PDF being played through the speakers.

March: Yay for splaying! I wrote a song/poem for rotating AVL and splay trees because, well, I was bored.

April: Yes, April Fool's. However, the responses got me thinking... maybe I am spending too much time on my website.

May: Last night was an adventure. After making the post, I decided to finish up a few more things... then realized I wasn't tired, so ended up doing laundry. Laundry finished at around 7 AM. Finally went to bed at 7.

June: We took so little... and gave you so much.
You give us nothing.
You can't give us a couple lines of print in the graduation program.
You can't give us any acknowledgement in speeches.
You can't even give us friendship.
What we do get is animosity. Hatred. Anger. Verbal abuse. So many people hurt... so much anger... and all for what?

July: So yeah... last night I was up until around 4 AM. Went to bed, woke up at 11, had lunch, went back to bed, woke up in time for dinner. Yay for laziness. Yay for sleep.

August: I just fail at summer. And at other slightly more important things too. *pout*

September: Today was the first day of sun since I arrived in Pittsburgh. It makes me happy. Yayyyyyyyyyy sunshne.

October: Good day. Slept until noon, did homework, went to Eat n' Park, played games with Tim and Keith.

November: Physics lab today went remarkably well. We studied the half-life of Indium, and came up with something like 54.99 +/- 0.99 minutes. The actual time is 54.1. We had a delta/sigma of like 0.898, and a chisqr/nd of 1.1. We win. Physics giving us good results makes me happy.

December: *sigh*
*whines*
