Kiltie Band!

I'm counting the previous entry as yesterday's, so here's today's.

Just got back from the game (which actually is still in progress, but I filled up my camera). Kiltie band is so much fun. Take these cheers, for example:

Ye ode CIT cheer
E to the X, dy dx, e to the y, dy,
tangent, secant, cosine, sine,
3.14159
square root, cube root, log of e
watercooled slipstick, CIT!

Random cheer
Interception, contraception,
Don't let them score!

Random cheer
Progress! Progress!
Ambulate over the turf!

Random cheer
We eat Wheaties
We are fit
The other team doesn't
They eat...
...shredded wheat

Random cheer
Give 'em bruses, give 'em stitches
Beat 'em up you sons of...
...Carnegie

And can't forget the fight song!
Fight for the glory of Carnegie!
Fight for the glory of the clan!
Let your eyes be ever on the tartan bright,
As we stand united every man-
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Fight ev'ry loyal son of Skibo,
Fight 'til we win the victory!
The Kilties are coming, hurray! hurray!
The Kilties are coming, they'll win today,
For they're fighting for the glory of Carnegie!

I'll put pix and stuff up later.
And yes, Zeke, we have a football team. A very, very, very large football team (about 2.5X the size of the other team today). Our football team is one of the top teams in our division (Division III though :-P).

In other news, redid my hair today. Yay neon red highlights. Now my room smells like ammonia, which probably isn't a good thing.

I think I messed up in the back, but I can't see the back, so it's out of sight and out of mind ;)

AWESOME cheers! Doc is into nerdy cheers. But he's mormon, so he wouldn't like some of yours. At least once every season, he says, "OK, ready to learn some PPA cheers?"

And all PPA kids kinda sulk because of how lame doc is being.

And he makes the whole band yell, "RETARD THEM, RETARD THEM, MAKE-THEM-RE-LIN-QUISH-THE-BALL."

Lame.

Well, the best nerdy cheer has to be MIT's. "Arc sine, tangent sine, hyperbolic sine! 3.14159!" Kind of like CIT's but more concise. Hmm.

I guess 3.14159 has a nice ring to it
