*sigh*

Picked up the paper this morning...
Apparently, Bush is reading this victory as a "mandate" for his policies, and is gonna put billions more into Iraq, make his largely-unfair taxcuts PERMANENT, push for a Constitutional gay-marriage-ban, and all sorts of other shit.
See what you've done, America? I hope you're happy.
Four more years of hell.
I can't stand it... I don't think I've ever been this mad at someone... and this is our PRESIDENT, who is supposed to be doing what is best for the people.
I ask you, how is diverting funds away from the homeland good for us? How is cutting taxes for the rich (meaning fewer government programs for the rest of us little people) helping the people? How is writing discrimination into the Constitution good for the people?
How has anything that Bush has done in the past four years been good for the people?
All he's done is to keep us afraid. Make us live in fear. There is no real threat. It's like in Orwell's 1984... the only purpose of the war is to use up resources. There is no outside threat. Who is the target of the war? The people. The AMERICAN people.

Anyway, met with Jim today for advising. Turns out my english transfer credit means I don't have to take ANY english course here. That combined with my AP credit for Spanish means I'm already about half done with my humanities requirements for graduation.

Next semester so far looks something like: 33112, 73100, 15211, 15251, 21122. That's about 54 units, which is a good number. I might overload in January with 62141, depending on how everything works out.

In case you don't speak CMU-ese, those courses are (in order) Phys 2, Intro Econ, Fundamental Data/Algorithms (programming), Great Theoretical Ideas (the course all CS majors fear, almost as much as 15410), Calc 2, and Black and White Photography.

Gotta mess around with course sections a bit after I finish my phys homework and history essay tonight.

I say that the mandate for the rest of us is to elect Hillary in 2008! Or O'Bama... He'd be fun too.

Whe-he-he!!!! Hopefully, if APs all get 3s or better, I'll be going into college with something like 46 credits. Thats a year and three quarters' worth of credit at CSU... Making it so that I can double major and do honors at the same times.

Or I could just graduate really easy. But I'll never do that.
