Well, got my phys exam back today. Got a 60%, which is a low C. Not bad, considering the class average was around 63%. Gained points in the steps leading to the solution (which I did mostly right), lost points in the solution (I don't think I got a single answer on the test right). Hmm... Does that mean I have the concepts down at their core, but I can't apply them properly?
Concepts is actually going pretty well though. I've found that, if I tune out Statman's lectures, listen to Adamchik, and listen to Avi, I can understand the material relatively well. I mean, I actually understood the homework this past week! Woot! I'm still gonna fail the second midterm coming up next week-ish, unless it's induction, in which case I can pull a decent grade on it (I love doing induction).
Nervous about tonight. I'm seriously dreading the election results... I seriously am fearing for my future if Bush is re-elected, and that's something not even Al-Qaeda or Sept 11 can do.
Now I am going to sleep. Ditched programming recitation (we never do anything in there anyway)... gonna sleep until 1, go grab some lunch, and head to calc recitation.
Edit: IC was fun. I got someone to wear my Mark mask through IC, then we went to Mark's office afterward. Yay for fun stuff.
