LotR
Well, I've finally caught up with the millions who have seen RotK. Heh. Not having read the book, I have but one point: the ending went on too long cinematically. However, according to my mom, the book goes on even longer, and Jackson did a good job with it, so that's okay then ;) Anyway, the movie is amazing. It must've been almost three hours long, yet I was never bored. The entire movie fit together perfectly, and even the battle scenes seemed original each time, even though I had seen about a million battles before :-P Heh. If you havn't seen this yet, GO SEE IT! It totally utterly rules. If it doesn't get the Oscar for best picture, I'm going to complain or something.
In other news, no, I havn't died. I've been missing from AIM in the past few days because the lack of sleep finally caught up to me and I've been going to bed at 9 PM every night since Saturday. Add my newfound addiction to Pokemon Channel to that, and there's no time for me to chat lol. I'll try and be on tonight though, I promise.

Edit: I'm bored, so here's links to people's Xangas/journals. For my future reference too so I don't forget ;) Lizzy | Amanda | Erin | Jennie | Janet | Vicki | David

Mmmm, yes, RotK was fabulous. I would rant and ramble about how great it was, but I've already done so way too many times, and I don't think I have any more words to spare.

I am SO getting the extended version of the RotK DVD when it comes out. In fact, I still need to get the TTT DVD.

The movie was OVER three hours long. And I actually kind of liked the ending. For such a long tale of struggles and woes, that kind of ending allows some breathing room after all the battle scenes and also provides a very thorough conclusion to everything.

The one thing I'm hoping for is that they do NOT go insane and make some sequel for the fans. Sequels suck and would ruin the essence of LotR. I hear they're going to make a cinematic version of The Hobbit, though... Interesting...
