Exausted
It's 9:30 and I JUST got home from work. Damn, it was so busy today, and I was the only one serving and stuff. Both Vicki and Ty came in to eat today, which was nice. Thank you SOOOO much for the $8 and $10 tips, respectively. Anyway, Vicki was the first to come in and sit down to eat. After that, things just totally escalated. At one time, there were 5 to go orders waiting and 3 customers sitting down. I didn't have time to clean ANY tables for at least 2 hours, and the place where you stick orders was completely full. People were waiting 30 minutes for their food. It was crazy. That's never happened before. Despite all that, I only have $58 in tips today, but hey, it's not too shabby. I am exausted though. Completely. On top of that, I somehow managed to enter something wrong in the cash register, and they ended up around $8 short of where they should be. *sigh* At least it's not the $150 that the owner originally thought was missing lol (she did some calculations wrong).
In other news, I got all the photos for my final project, "The Dark Side of the Moon," done today. Now all that's left is to incorporate them into illustrations with the story. Be assured, when I finish it, it will be up for download.
I work again tomorrow. If you know me, stop by and say hi! But I'm so tired tonight, I won't be able to write the final chapter of Dark Side of the Moon. You'll have to wait til tomorrow. Sorry.
