So, what exactly is this? This is version 3.0 of my blog, "Gotta keep moving
on...," also known as Alan's Online Journal (only version 3). This is where I write about whatever I
damn well please. If you're offended by stuff you read in here, too bad. My journal, my rules. Meh.
Of course, all comments are the opinions of their writers, so don't blame me for anything there! All times in the journal (entries and comments) are in Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5:00). The blog itself is run by Movable Type 3.15. The design was custom made by me.
Where's the journal name come from? Kelly Clarkson's new single off her CD of the same title, "Breakaway." I dunno, I like the
song, and the lyrics are really applicable right now, especially with me in college and all.

As winter is coming around, I decided to give the site more of a "cool" feel while still maintaining a clean and easy-to-navigate layout. I think pretty much every incarnation of my journal has been blue so far, so this one is extra blue. For those of you curious: the first layout was notebook paper, the second was a black table with me laying on top (but still a blue link colorscheme). Now that I think about it, I've basically used the same CSS file for all three layouts. Interesting.

Some history? This journal was started as a project for my AP English class, and quickly grew into an
obsession. I write in it almost daily, so you can come and check up on me, how I'm doing, how I'm
feeling, etc.
